Cedarbrook Camps, formerly known as Cherith Camps, was founded by Pioneer Clubs (originally Pioneer Girls) to provide youth with Christ-centered, Bible-based outdoor camp experiences. The name “Cherith” is inspired by the brook where God directed the prophet Elijah for spiritual renewal, as described in 1 Kings 17:1-6. During his time at the brook, Elijah was nourished by ravens, which is why all of our camp staff are given bird names.
