Staff (and their families) Retreat
The Staff Retreat at Oregon Camp Cedarbrook is a time of spiritual renewal, relationship building, and personal reflection for all camp staff and their families. Held annually, this retreat provides a special opportunity to step away from the busyness of daily life and reconnect with the core mission of the camp. It serves as a space for the staff to grow in their faith, deepen relationships with each other, and recharge for the upcoming camp season.
Through a blend of structured activities, personal reflection, and informal fellowship, the retreat allows staff to experience both spiritual and physical refreshment. Activities such as Morning Watch (devotions), scavenger hunts, archery, and craft sessions are designed to foster teamwork and creativity, while opportunities for fun, like playing games together and campfire moments, help staff relax and bond with their peers and their families.
The retreat’s schedule provides time for each staff member to choose their own adventure, giving them space to reflect on their role in the camp and grow in their personal walk with God. This weekend is an essential part of building a united, dedicated team for the camp season ahead, ensuring that staff are spiritually prepared, mentally refreshed, and ready to lead with passion and joy.
